Organize Your Digital Knowledge Base with Xbase

Create a folder for specific topics and add bookmarks to these collections so that they are easily accessible and categorized. Here’s how:

Create a new collection

Looking at a wall of bookmarks can be intimidating, but by creating collections by topic or category, you can streamline and easily manage your bookmarks.

Category Examples:

  1. Design
    1. Curate your design inspiration and any tips/tricks you may come by. Stay up to date with the current design trends and note any interesting design direction you may want to explore in the future
  1. Personal/Professional Development
    1. Save posts regarding career tips, motivation, learning new skills, and career advice. Having a curated collection for this will keep you on your toes and curious

Tips:

  1. Think about what collections would be of most value to you. Personally, the two category examples are essential for my career, which is why I have them!
  1. Routinely go through your newly saved bookmarks and categorize them. This keeps it from getting too unkempt in your bookmarks and keeps all your collections up to date.
    1. You can utilize the “Uncategorized” tab in the sidebar to make organizing your new bookmarks a lot easier
  1. Check out the explore tab and look at collections made by other users. There may be related collections that you can take some inspiration from!

Bypassing X’s (Formerly Twitter) API Limit

API limitations can make managing bookmarks on social media platforms challenging. With Xbase, you're free from those restrictions—you can export all the bookmarks you've ever saved on platforms like X (Formerly Twitter). While X's API limits you to syncing 800 bookmarks, Xbase ensures you're not held back by these constraints.

Plus, even if a tweet gets deleted on Twitter, you can still view it on xbase!

Conclusion

X (Formerly Twitter) has been making updates to their bookmark feature which is great, but it still has its limitations. Xbase removes these limits and makes organizing and finding your bookmarks streamlined.
